The National Identification Authority (NIA), says it has started training its registration officers for the next phase of registering applicants in five regions of the country after the extension of the exercise in the northern region.
Head of Communications at the NIA, Francis Palmdetti in an interview with GBC’s Radio Ghana, noted that the extension of registering applicants in the north, which ends on Wednesday October, 30 is necessary due to some unexpected factors.
He said the Authority will start registering applicants in the Upper West, Bono East and Ahafo regions early next month.
