“I am in the knowledge that death can never extinguish the torch which I have lit in Ghana and Africa. Long after I am dead and gone, the light will continue to burn and be borne aloft, giving light and guidance to all people.” – Kwame Nkrumah

A Ghanaian Actor, Director, Philanthropist, and Producer, Mr. Oscar Provencal best known for his role as Inspector Bediako in the TV series Inspector Bediako has disclosed that Ghana’s first President, Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah was well cut for the position of a President than those who came after him.

According to the Actor, Osagyefo Kwame Nkrumah was well-groomed by way of learning the act through his activities in the United States of America and Canada.

Speaking on the GTV Breakfast Show on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, during the Headlines Segment, Oscar Provencal argued that the unmatched works of Ghana’s first President during his short stay in Office clearly shows that the man Nkrumah had a vision and a mission for the country.

“Unfortunately I cannot say the same for all those who have come after him, maybe it is because of the way we groom people for leadership positions in this country” he added.

Inspector Bediako as he is popularly called insisted that the legacies, policies, writings, teachings, and philosophy of Osagyefo affirm that he is not a man who just popped up from nowhere.

The Veteran Ghanaian Actor explained there is much evidence that proves that the former Ghanaian Leader was well prepared for the job of a President.

“Before his coming into the Ghanaian political space, Osagyefo was organizing African students in US and Canada, when there was no social media

His interactions with Marcus Garvey, D. W. E. Dubois, etc. show how prepared the man Nkrumah was before taking over as President. I don’t know how people are prepared for a high position such as that of the President”, Mr. Provencal noted.
