Deputy Director of the Savannah Agriculture Research Institute, Professor Roger Kanton says there is no empirical evidence to suggest there would be shortage of food in the later part of this year or early next year.
He told GBC’s George Ankrah that despite the devastating floods, crops such as Corn, Millet, Sorghum and Yam would be in season.
Professor Kanton said Ghana has excellent agronomical practices, yet there are challenges with enough and good storage facilities close to the farming centres for prudent use.
