An Energy Policy Analyst, Benjamin Nsiah has called on National Petroleum Authority, NPA to reduce fuel margin build up.

Speaking to GBC News Mr. Nsiah said there is decrease of petroleum products on the international market but that has not reflected in NPA’s fuel margin build up.

He said the NPA has increased unified petroleum price fund from 47pesewas to 75 pesewas and fuel margin price from 4 pesewas to 9 pesewas.

According to Mr. Nsiah, the NPA has not justified reasons for the increase and has therefore called on the authority to look into it and reduce those two margins.

Mr Nsiah called on petroleum users to kick against what he termed as outrageous increase by the NPA.
