One person has been confirmed dead in a shooting incident at Bawku in the Upper East Region on March 14, 2022.
The cause of the latest violence is not clear, but residents are living in fear with some said to be fleeing their homes for safety.
GBC Correspondent Peter Agengre has been monitoring the situation and tells us that the Upper East Regional Police Commander is yet to communicate to the public on any arrests made as well as measures put in place to bring the situation under control.
