Ghana’s first female Vice President, Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, has reportedly begun a three-week medical break, effective Monday, April 7, 2025.
Sources at the Jubilee House say the Vice President is taking the break following medical advice from her doctor.
The announcement comes weeks after reports of a sudden illness, which led her to seek treatment at the University of Ghana Medical Centre in Accra before travelling abroad for further medical care.
