PM of Trinidad and Tobago arrives in Ghana for a two day state visit

The Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, Dr Keith Rowley, is in the country for a two day state visit. The Prime Minister who will be the special guest of honour at Ghana’s 63rd Independence Anniversary in Kumasi paid a courtesy call on President Akufo-Addo Thursday morning.

The visit is to strengthen economic and other relations that exist between the two countries.

The two leaders discussed trade, energy and  finalised an agreement on Air Service. Dr Keith Rowley said the Air service will make Ghana the Gateway to the Caribbean countries.

President Akufo-Addo asked the two countries to firm up the Air Services agreement.
