Police killing: Security Analyst calls for death penalty for persons found guilty

Security Analyst, Adib Saani has described the arrest of Eric Kojo Duah as a refreshing news. According to him, this will send a signal to the public that the security agencies are not dormant as may be perceived.

Mr Saani in an interview with GBC’s Radio Ghana also ignited a debate on the death penalty.

He noted that persons who are found guilty of killing cops should be sentenced to death.

Eric Kojo Duah (Middle) is the prime suspect in the Kasoa shooting incident which led to the death of two policemen from the Kasoa MTTD.

This he believes, will be deterrent enough to criminal elements.
