The Ghana Police Service says it has began investigations into the alleged misconduct of some police officers in the Ashanti Region.
This comes after a video of some officers exchanging words went viral on social media. The incident, according to the Police happened in the morning of July 20, 2022.
A statement signed by the Director of the Police Public Affairs Directorate, Chief Supt. Grace Ansah-Akrofi and issued on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 said the Service had taken note of the viral video and investigation into the matter has commenced.
The Police however assured the public that the “due internal disciplinary process of the Service is being applied in dealing with the matter”.
