Premix fuel distribution to be digitized to help minimize challenges

The Vice President  Dr. Mahamudu  Bawumia  has assured  Fisher folks of government’s commitment  to ensure a better  mode of distributing premix fuel to all landing  beaches.

This the Vice President said  plans are far advanced to digitize premix  distribution  to help minimize the challenges which often occur at the various  landing  beaches.

Dr. Bawumia  dropped  the hint when  he joined the chiefs and people  of Elimina, (Edina) in the central region  to climax their  annual  Edina Bakatue festival.

Established at least as far back as 1847, Bakatue Festival is celebrated on the first Tuesday in the month of July every year.

Vice President Dr. Bawumia also disclosed that ten landing sites and other related facilities would be constructed at Teshie in the Greater Accra Region, Axim and Dixcove in the Western Region, Elmina, Winneba, Mumford, Senya-Bereku, Fetteh-Gomoah and Moree in the Central Region and Keta in the Volta Region.

Vice President  Dr. Bawumia gave the assurance that President Akufo-Addo led government will continue to bring developments to the doorsteps of the people of Elmina.
