Prices of fuel at the pumps are expected to increase from August 1, 2023.
The Institute for Energy Security, IES projects a hike between four and six percent per litre for petrol and diesel and about 18 percent per kilogram for Liquid Petroleum Gas, LPG.
The IES says the projected change is a result of increases in the prices of the products on the international market, and zero-point five nine percent depreciation of the Cedi against the Dollar on the domestic forex market.
Research Analyst with IES, Adam Yakubu, said, ”commodity analysts continue to predict seasonal increase in demand.”
