Prince of Wales, Prince Charles on Sunday joined Christians to worship at the Accra Ridge Church as part of his five-day visit in Ghana but Camilla was not at his side.
Prince Charles’ presence at the church brought joy and smile to the congregation who were glad to have the Royal in their midst.
The Thanksgiving Service was also attended by Ghana’s First Lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo, British High Commissioner to Ghana Iain Walker and some British dignitaries in the country.
Moderator of the service, Dr. Kwaku Sarkodie who ministered on the topic, ‘How does God’s grace get through’, prayed for the Prince of Wales and his family asking for God’s guidance, long life and grace upon their lives.
A gift was presented to the Prince by the Ridge Church as a token of remembrance for his historic visit to the church.
Accra Ridge Church is an English language inter-denominational church.
He will address a Public Lecture at the Accra International Conference Centre on Monday, November 5 before attending a State Banquet to be held in his honour by President Akufo-Addo.
The Banquet will be attended by famous Ghanaian politicians, British nationals, a cross-section of Ghanaians and prominent figures from the areas of business, arts, culture and the media.
The Royals will leave Ghana on Tuesday, November 6, 2018.
