Head of the Political Science Department of the University of Ghana, Prof. Alidu Seidu has called on the campaign team of Vice President Bawumia not to be complacent with their win at last Saturday’s Super Delegate Conference.
He says though Dr. Bawumia won the hearts of delegates, Kennedy Agyapong and Alan Kyeremanten have a stronger base among the general NPP electorate and so it will not be a smooth sail for Vice President Bawumia on November 4, 2023.
Prof. Seidu said each candidate will have to properly strategize to convince the delegates. He spoke to Augustus Acquaye.
Professor Alidu said the ”NPP must educate its members on the November 4 elections to ensure less accusations and violence recorded at Saturday’s Special Delegates Conference”.
