President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo upon the recommendation of the Public Service Commission, has appointed Professor Samuel Kobina Annim as the Government Statistician.
Prof Annim, an Associate Professor of Economics assumed duty on March 1, 2019.
A statement signed by the Director of Administration of Ghana Statistical Service (GSS), Kwadwo Asante-Mensah, said Prof Annim joined the GSS from the University of Cape Coast where he worked for over 18 years.
It entreated the public to accord him the necessary courtesies in the performance of his duties.
