Former President Nana Akufo-Addo has extended heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the Muslim community in Ghana, Africa, and beyond as they begin the sacred month of Ramadan.
In a message to the Muslim Ummah, Akufo-Addo expressed his hope that the period of fasting and prayer would deepen both personal and collective dedication to peace and unity.
“I hope this Ramadan strengthens our individual and collective resolve in the pursuit of peace and good neighbourliness,” he stated.
Ramadan, observed by millions of Muslims worldwide, is a time of spiritual reflection, devotion, and self-discipline. It is also a season of charity and togetherness.
During this holy month, Muslims will fast from dawn to dusk, engage in prayers, and perform acts of kindness as part of their faith and devotion.
