The General Superintendent of Assemblies of God, Ghana, Rev. Stephen Wengam, and his wife, Lady Mrs. Monica Wengam, visited the North East Region to fellowship with pastors, retired ministers, their spouses, and widows of deceased pastors. They were warmly received at the Central Assemblies of God, Nakpanduri, by the Regional Superintendent, Rev. Baba Alhassan.
Speaking on the church’s theme for the year, “Pray Without Ceasing” (1 Thessalonians 5:17), Rev. Wengam urged pastors to pray anywhere, everywhere, and at all times. He also encouraged them to lead their congregations in intense prayer for supernatural breakthroughs.

As part of his apostolic visit, Rev. Wengam led a three-hour, non-stop prayer session with the pastors. He and his wife made personal donations to all retired ministers, their spouses, and widows of deceased pastors. The men received cash gifts, while the women were given pieces of cloth, oral health accessories, and an undisclosed amount of money. Each pastor’s wife also received cloth and oral health accessories.
Additionally, Rev. Wengam and Lady Monica donated 100 bags of cement, worth GHC 10,000, and GHC 40,000 to support the construction of the regional office building.
The Regional Superintendent, Rev. Baba Alhassan, commended the first family of Assemblies of God for their consistent generosity, describing the visit as “unique, amazing, and memorable.”
