A Legal firm, Amicus Consult, has appealed to the Police CID, to fully investigate an allegation of corruption levelled against the Roads and Highways Minister, Kwasi Amoako Atta on an Accra-based FM station.
According to the law firm, Mr. Amoako Atta, after listening to the recording from the station, found out that a presenter of the station is alleged to have collected money from a certain woman for the benefit of the Minister.
The firm, who are solicitors for the Minister, said the allegation has criminal connotations and defamatory to the integrity of Mr. Amoako Atta.
The Minister’s legal representatives, who wrote to the CID, have also threatened to pursue the matter in court.
They hope the perpetrator of the allegation will be dealt with according to law.
