Rwanda’s first-ever high commissioner to Ghana, Dr. Aisa Kirabo Kacyira has called on management of GBC as part of her visit to key institutions in the country to familiarise herself with their operations.

She commended GBC and Ghanaians for their hospitability and hopes to build a lasting relationship with Ghana.

Dr. Aisa said Rwanda hopes to do genuine business with Ghana so as to set examples for others on the continent.

“I must commend the hospitality of Ghanaians that even in the middle of COVID, we were able somehow to find our footing,” she said on Wednesday, September 30.

Director-General of the GBC, Prof Amin Alhassan told Dr Aisa that the Corporation is ready to provide her with the space to market her country and its opportunities whenever the need arises.

He advocated strong bilateral relations between GBC and the Rwanda Broadcasting Agency to strengthen any long term cooperation between the two institutions.
