Wife of the Vice President, Mrs. Samira Bawumia, says she will refund all allowances paid her since 2017.
She has decided not to accept any monies related to the recommendations of the Professor Yaa Ntiamoah-Baidu Emoluments Committee as approved by Parliament on the 6th of January, this year.
This is contained in a statement signed by a Senior Aide at the Office of Mrs. Bawumia, Kwame Twum.
The statement said Mrs. Bawumia is still committed to serving the nation by delivering humanitarian interventions and initiatives in the areas of health, education and economic empowerment.
