Security Analyst, Adib Saani, has pointed to what he described as porous nature of investigation and low probability of criminals getting arrested as reasons for the spike in murder cases.

Mr. Saani expressed concern about the situation where police investigators do not show up in court with enough evidence leading to criminals being set free.

“As a matter of fact the porous nature of our investigation regime is making it very rewarding to perpetrate crime because the probability of getting caught when you perpetrate a crime in Ghana is quite low,” according to Adib Sani.
