Security Analyst Adib Saani says the formation of a Committee to examine the recent Suame Police Station attacks, to him, is needless because it will not solve anything.
He has instead suggested to the Military and Police hierarchy to critically examine their internal disciplinary structures which, he thinks, have not been properly exploited to handle personnel misbehavior over time.
Mr. Adib Saani told GBC News in Accra that the internal structures of the two institutions are yet to be effectively deployed to handle certain misdemeanors among some soldiers and the Police.
He believes the non-application of such internal disciplinary measures against deviant personnel is the cause of the occasional clashes and attacks among them in public.
