The Kaneshie District Court has adjourned the case involving Member of Parliament for Madina, Francis-Xavier Sosu to the 16th of this month. The court made the decision following a letter received by the Police from the Speaker of Parliament indicating that Lawyer Sosu is out of the country on Parliamentary duties.
Lawyer Sosu was expected to appear before the Court November 8, 2021 to answer criminal charges leveled against him by the Ghana Police Service.
The NDC Constituency Secretary for Madina, Abdul Razak Husain in a media interaction after Court proceedings noted that the said demonstration had yielded some results as the Contractor is currently back to work on the road in question.
