The Public Services Workers Union (PSWU), is embarking on an indefinite strike today, in what it says is the deliberate delay on the part of the Government, Fair Wages and Salaries Commission, and the Ministry of Finance to finalise negotiations on certain allowances due members.
Leadership of the PSWU said allowance disparities among public service workers have been on the discussion table of the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission for close to three years.
At a News Conference in Accra, General Secretary of PSWU, Benard Adjei, said failure to meet their demands will result in a strike.
