In the early hours of Monday 10th May 2021, a man in his 70s was attacked and stung multiple times by bees at the Airport residential area close to the National Service Secretariat.
The insects had invaded the area and taken over a portion of the stretch forcing residents to abandon the road.
The man who was stung was apparently not aware of the invasion.
The residents are worried that the insects will increase and cause harm in the neighborhood.
