Chinese Ambassador to Ghana calls on Mahama, talks on reactivating Syno-Hydro support

President-elect, John Dramani Mahama has hinted that immediately after assuming office, a delegation will be sent to China with the aim to reactivating the Syno-Hydro support, and also working to benefit from the disbursement from the Forum on China-Africa Co-operation, FOCAC, and the Belt and Road Initiative.

Mr. Mahama gave the hint when the Chinese Ambassador to Ghana, Tong Defa paid a courtesy call on him at his residence in Accra.

Since Mr. John Dramani Mahama was declared the winner in Ghana’s 2024 Presidential elections, he has enjoyed emerging goodwill from the diplomatic community with courtesy calls and pledges to support the Mahama Presidency in its quest to reset Ghana.
