Most Churches used their Sunday Church Service to thank God for his protection for Ghana for sixty-five years of nationhood. It was a display of the rich Ghanaian culture in churches GBC News visited in Accra, as churches climaxed activities to mark the 65 years anniversary.
Designated Thanksgiving Sunday as part of events to mark the celebration, members were well represented in traditional apparel depicting the various ethnic groups and tribes.
Adorned in beads, kente, native sandals and among others, some of the members performed dances and sketches to represent Ghana’s cultural heritage.
