The Volta regional office of the lands commission says it is not selling parcels of state lands, in the Ho municipality, to individuals or politicians.
According to the commission the office has been engaged in an in-filling exercise, since 2015, to address issues of land waste around residential bungalows, with approval from the sector ministry.
The office also said it is not true that the family of the Volta regional minister, Dr. Archibald Letsa has benefited from the alleged sale of such lands.
The Volta regional lands officer Mr. Jonathan Kwabla gave this explanation at a stakeholder engagement on land use in the region.
