The National Cathedral Secretariat has begun a three-day bible reading marathon in Accra, with a call on the public to also contribute to the construction of the religious edifice.
The public is being encouraged to visit the National Cathedral construction site to read portions of the bible from Genesis to Revelations amid discussion and prayer sessions.
Launching the project in Accra on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the National Cathedral, Apostle Opoku Onyinah was optimistic that with the needed support, the ”Cathedral project shall become a reality”.
Madam Joyce Aryee, a member of the Board of Trustees encouraged the public to continue to donate to the project via mobile number, 055 575 0000.
Some of the participants who spoke to GBC News thanked the organizers for the programme.
From December 28 to December 31, 2022, the programme begins at 6 a.m. and ends at 6 p.m. daily at the National Cathedral construction site.
The National Cathedral project, when completed, has the potential to position Ghana conspicuously on the international map.
