Traders in the Central Business District of Accra are calling on the Government to rethink its decision to prosecute them for operating along the pavements.
The appeal comes after the Greater Accra Regional Minister, Henry Quartey, warned that recalcitrant traders who operate along the streets of the Central Business District and other key areas of the City would be arrested and prosecuted after the Easter festivities.
Speaking to GBC News, some traders said the move will compound their woes due to the already high cost of living standards currently.
