The University for Development Studies, UDS, has established a virtual learning platform dubbed UDS International Virtual Visiting Lecturers’ Platform aimed at introducing and promoting the University to other universities globally.
The platform, which is being facilitated through the Directorate of International Relations and Advancement, seeks to also promote internationalization among students and staff of the University.
Speaking at the 22nd Congregation of UDS, in Tamale, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Gabriel AyumTeye, encouraged both staff and students to take advantage of the platform to make an impact in their careers as well as lecture deliveries.
Professor Ayum Teye called on staff in or outside UDS to share and submit specific topics for the Directorate of International Relations and Advancement to advertise.
Professor AyumTeye said the University is in the process of establishing additional Distance Learning Centers to expand its tentacles. He also touched on the upgrading of some of it’s new Schools and Faculties.
