Lawyers for the Office of the Special Prosecutor, OSP, are opposing a request by former Minister of Sanitation Cecilia Dapaah and her husband to hear the application for confirmation of seizure and freezing of suspected tainted property on Wednesday October 11, 2023 as against October 18, 2023.
Lawyer Esther Tetteh opposed the request on grounds that they have filed leave to file supplementary Affidavit to their earlier one.
However, Lawyer for Madam Dapaah and husband Daniel Osei Kufuor, Victoria Barth has accused the Office of the Special Prosecutor of exhibiting what she described as bad faith in the Application for Abridgment of time.
Moving the motion, Madam Barth said, the delay in hearing the case has imposed hardship on her clients.
The Court presided over by Justice Edward Twum will later in the day give his ruling on the request by Madam Dapaah.
