Ghana’s Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has met his thesis supervisor at Simon Fraser University, Emeritus Professor Mahmood Hasan Khan.
Simon Fraser University(SFU) is a public research university in British Columbia Canada.
Vice President Dr. Bawumia who is on an official visit to that country, described his meeting with Emeritus Professor Mahmood Hasan Khan as ‘happy as well as emotional day in Vancouver.’
He described Prof Khan who he said was a student of Ghana’s Prime Minister, Professor K.A. Busia at The Hague, as a fountain of knowledge, humility and a true gem.
“We talked about old times and his new readings. He gave me a copy of his recently completed autobiography (A Journey of Ages)”. Vice President Dr. disclosed this in a tweeted message.
“Professor Khan left me with one piece of advice. He said at his age of 83, he realizes that the most important asset in one’s life is your health and if he had to do it over again he would spend more time on his health. Profound advice.” He said.
