The Volta Region branch of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) has asked members to be in high spirit and go about their work, despite the attack on some colleagues last Saturday during the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Primaries at Nkwanta South.
Speaking in an interview with GBC’s Radio Ghana, the Regional President of GJA, Kafui Kanyi said the GJA has decided to boycott programmes of the NDC in the region if certain demands are not met by the party.
Mr. Kanyi noted that though such attack is not frequent in the region, the GJA will not allow its members to be brutalised.
Mr. Kanyi said the GJA will go all out to follow the issue to its logical end.
