As part of activities marking Ghana’s 68th Independence Day celebrations, the Volta Regional Coordinating Council (VRCC), led by the Volta Regional Minister, Mr. James Gunu, has scheduled a special clean-up exercise for tomorrow, Thursday, 6th March 2025.

The exercise, which is expected to bring together government officials, community members, and residents of the Ho Municipality, will take place at the Ho Airport, starting at 6:00 AM. Participants are expected to converge at the VRCC premises before moving to the clean-up site.

Organizers say the initiative aims to promote cleanliness and environmental responsibility while fostering patriotism among residents. They encourage all citizens to take part in the activity to help keep the region clean and beautiful.
The event forms part of efforts by the VRCC to instill a culture of cleanliness as Ghana celebrates its 68th Independence Day under the theme “Reflect, Review, and Reset.”
