Former Presiding Bishop of the Methodist Church Ghana, Most Reverend Dr. Robert Aboagye-Mensah, is backing Parliament to vote in favour of anti-LGBTQ plus bill banning homosexuality and its related activities.
He urged the parliamentarians to do needful by passing Ghana’s Family Values Bill into law.
The Most Reverend Dr. Aboagye-Mensah said this after a sermon at the 62nd Anniversary of Saint Paul Methodist Church Cathedral, at Tema.
He said the MPs owe it to Ghanaians, to uphold the traditions and cultural values as a people, urging them to unite in the fight against the scourge and perversion that homosexuality presents.
A former Lay Chairman of Tema Diocese of the Methodist Church Ghana, Sammy Abakah, asked Christians to set good examples that will transform society.
