The Chief Executive Officer of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA), Justin Kodua Frimpong, says the YEA Job Centre will provide a complete range of assistance to job seekers and employers under one platform.

Mr Justin Kodua Frimpong said this at the launch of a Job Centre at the Bank of Ghana Auditorium, University of Ghana, Legon on Wednesday, (October 2).

Organised under the theme, “Connecting the Youth to Job Opportunities” Mr. Frimpong said the Job Centre is designed to link job seekers to available vacancies.

“The YEA Job Centre has been designed to serve as a one-stop-shop for the employment, career and entrepreneurial needs of young Ghanaians with an online portal and a walk-in centre.’’ he stated.

He added that the Job Centre will offer training, counselling, job listing and other similar employment services.

Mr. Frimpong disclosed that one of the cardinal importance of the Job Centre is that it will provide the agency, the government and all stakeholders with a proper database of the youth’s level of education, skills, graphical locations and other information to aid in policy and strategic planning.

The YEA Job Centre is aimed at addressing the unemployment concerns of the youth in the country. The Center was launched by the Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
