Accra Lions and Berekum Chelsea delivered a thrilling 1-1 draw at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium. After a goalless first half, the game exploded into life with Ali Mohammed and Stephen Amankona scoring in quick succession.

Meanwhile, Nations FC and Bibiani Gold Stars shared the spoils in a captivating 1-1 encounter at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex, maintaining their unbeaten records.

Heart of Lions found themselves in a frustrating goalless draw against Vision FC, marking a challenging start to their season with only one win in six matches. Their lack of goals has been a concern, netting just five times so far, which has left fans yearning for a turnaround.

Hearts of Oak managed to break their winless streak with a dramatic 2-1 victory over Young Apostles. Overcoming a disallowed goal, they secured their second win of the season, providing a much-needed boost to their campaign.

Aduana Stars finally found their stride, securing their first win of the season with a commanding 2-0 victory over Dreams FC at Nana Agyemang Badu Park. After a series of disappointing results, the home fans in Dormaa Ahenkro were treated to a spirited performance that reignited their hopes for the season. This win could serve as a turning point for Aduana Stars, who have been eager to climb the league standings and establish themselves as formidable contenders.

Bechem United made a significant statement by ending Medeama’s unbeaten start to the season with a convincing 2-0 victory at Nana Gyeabour Park. This result not only halted Medeama’s momentum but also showcased Bechem United’s potential to challenge the top teams in the league.

The weekend’s fixtures were not without their challenges, as inclement weather and international commitments led to postponements. Samartex and Nsoatreman FC’s match was delayed due to a heavy downpour, rescheduled for the following day.

Meanwhile, the match between Legon Cities and Kotoko was postponed as the Porcupine Warriors were engaged in an international friendly against DC United in the United States.
