The Daily Graphic says it is satisfied that the highest court of the land, the Supreme Court has once again stamped it authority as prescribed under the Constitution to settle the compilation of a new voters’ register saga that exposed the polarised nature of the country’s body politic.  The Paper says though people may disagree with the judgment of the court and proffer their own opinions , the pronouncement of the court is paramount.  Whiles calling on all contesting interests to bury the hatchet and support the Electoral process to succeed, the GRAPHIC calls on stakeholders to play their part to ensure the successful outcome of the next hurdle, which is the Mass Voters Registration Exercise, which begins June 30. It calls on the EC to ensure that no eligible voter is denied the opportunity to register since that will be a violation of article 42 of the constitution.  The Graphic also expects the National Commission for Civic Education NCCE, to intensify education on the registration process to ensure that all citizens are aware of their civic responsibility to register as voters and also vote.

The Ghanaians Times asks those who peddle fake news on COVID-19 in schools to desist from such acts.  The paper says it is very unfortunate and regrettable for such faceless persons to continue to play pranks with such a serious national and global health problem.  It is if the view that this is the time that everyone has to demonstrate the spirit of nationalism and patriotism in the fight to contain the spread of the disease and keep the country safe. The paper notes that this is not the time to spread fear and panic in schools but a time to support the efforts of government and stakeholders to ensure the safety of students to motivate them in their final exams.
