APC out-doors Rev Dr Worlanyo Mensah as Hassan Ayariga’s running mate

The leadership of one of the opposition parties in Ghana, All People’s Congress (APC) say they are battle ready as, they officially unveiled the party’s 2024 running mate in Accra yesterday, September 3, 2024.

An economist, Rev. Dr. Samuel Worlanyo Mensah will partner the founder and 2024 flag-bearer of the APC, Dr. Hassan Ayariga as his running mate.The official unveiling of the running mate at Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) Hall in Accra yesterday completes the party’s ticket in their bid to contest in the upcoming presidential and parliamentary elections slated for December 7, 2024.

Dr. Ayariga who made the announcement to the public on a televised broadcast and some party members in a charged atmosphere filled with excitement explained that the selection of Rev. Dr. Worlanyo Mensah, an astute economist, a reverend minister, and accomplished lecturer marks a significant milestone in the APC’s 2024 campaign strategy. He expressed confidence in Rev. Dr. Worlanyo Mensah, saying he is coming on board with innovative ideas to make APC the favorite and appealing party to the voting populace.

“Dr. Worlanyo Mensah is an astute minister of God who has people at heart and will work tirelessly to salvage the country from the economic doldrums it finds herself in when APC win power, the APC’s leader and 2024 flag-bearer reiterated”.

Rev. Dr. Worlanyo Mensah in his acceptance speech thanked the party leadership for entrusting to him a leadership role to serve the party and Ghana at large.

He vowed to work assiduously in helping the party to secure a mass victory in the upcoming general elections.Rev. Dr. Worlanyo Mensah charged the party supporters to intensify their door to door campaign to canvass votes to ensure a resounding victory in the forthcoming general elections.
