Ashanti Region triumphs in maiden edition of Elite U15 Girls Championship

The Elite U15 Girls Championship concluded in spectacular fashion as Ashanti Region were crowned champions with a victory over Brong Ahafo Region on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence. The match marked the end of an exciting tournament that showcased the incredible talents of young female footballers from across the country.

Ashanti Region’s triumph was sealed by the exceptional performances of Keziah Akua Asantewaa and Franklina Onyinah, who each scored a goal, leading their team to a well-deserved 2:0 victory.

Their goals not only secured the championship title but also maintained Ashanti Region’s unbeaten streak throughout the tournament, a testament to their dominance and skill on the field.
