The Presidential Candidate of the NPP Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has reiterated his promise to grant tax amnesty to businesses as part of his tax reform.
Addressing Spare Dealers at Abossey Okai as part of his campaign tour in some selected constituencies in the Greater Accra region, Dr Bawumia said the flat rate tax system, flat rate import duty regime, tax amnesty and the Women’s Trade Empowerment Fund will bring relief to traders and enable them to expand.
Dr Bawumia who had earlier visited the Mallam Atta Market and the Hebron Prayer center, urged the electorates to continue to pray for the peace before, during and after the elections.
Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia started his tour of some selected constituencies in the Greater Accra Region with a Meet and Greet feature of his 2024 campaign at the Mallam Atta Market in the Ayawaso Central Constituency. Enthusiastic crowd welcomed Dr. Bawumia to the market.
Dr. Bawumia who was in the market to sell his campaign message to the traders moved from Shop to Shop to interact with them. Some of the market women could not hide their joy when they saw Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the market.
From the Mallam market, Dr. Bawumia and his Possibility Campaign Team moved to the Nsawam Adoagyire Constituency to visit the Hebron Prayer Centre. The Prayer Centre is embarking on a 21 day prayers and fasting to intercede and pray for the peace of Ghana, especially the December polls. Addressing the congregation.
Dr. Bawumia said he believes God wants to use him as a conduit to bring transformation to Ghana.
The next point of call for Dr. Bawumia, was Abossey Okai, a Spare parts hub in Accra. The Spare parts enclave is home to about 15-thousand people. Most of the shop owners at Abossey Okai are importers of spare parts. Dr. Bawumia told them he will grant all businesses tax amnesty and introduce new tax reforms.
He urged them to vote number one on December 7th in both the Presidential Parliamentary elections.
