The Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party, NPP, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, says the future of policies such as the Free SHS, National Health Insurance Scheme, Trainee Allowance, One District One Factory, Planting for Food and Jobs, Agenda 111, Free treatment for Sickle Cell patients and many others are on the line in the December Polls.
When he addressed the electorate in the Bantama Constituency in Ashanti Region, Dr. Bawumia, said the posture of Former President John Mahama, towards these policies indicates that he will not continue with these good initiatives, if elected, and therefore must be rejected.
Bantama Constituency in the Ashanti Region is the 25th Constituency the NPP Presidential Candidate has visited since he started his constituency level campaign activities five months ago.
The leader of the NPP has toured 15 of the country’s regions, and Ashanti is the last as part of his Constituency focused campaign.
Dr. Bawumia, concluded the ‘Possibility Campaign Trail on Thursday in the Bantama Constituency. He first met with stakeholders in the Constituency, which include, Chiefs, Religious leaders, traders Artisans among others.
After the engagement with the stakeholders, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia met with the youth in the Bantama Constituency at Kokoase Astro Turf.
The youth in the Constituency turned out in their thousands for the evening programme, which had a charged atmosphere when the NPP Flagbearer and his team arrived for the Community Youth Connect.
They were encouraged by the leaders on the podium to move from house to house and sell the policies of the NPP government in the past 8-years and explain to voters why Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is a better candidate in this election.
Francis Asenso Boakye, is the Parliamentary Candidate for Bantama Constituency. Dr. Bawumia said a vote for him and Asenso-Boakye is the way to go.
Dr. Bawumia plans to train the country’s young population with digital skills to work anywhere in the world. Dr. Bawumia, said former President Mahama, has shown that, he does not have the capacity to continue many social intervention in the country, and therefore must be rejected.
He urged them to vote number 1, for the NPP on December 7.
