Bernard Tekpetey set to organise blood donation drive to save lives

Ghana and PFC Ludogorets Razgrad forward Bernard Tekpetey has taken a commendable step towards saving lives by organizing a blood donation program. Scheduled for Saturday, 15th June 2024, the event will take place at the University of Ghana Legon Campus Oval, starting at exactly 8 am.

The initiative, spearheaded by the Bernard Tekpetey Foundation in collaboration with the National Blood Service, aims to provide an avenue for helping those in need, whether they are patients undergoing labor or victims of accidents.

In a recent interview with GTV Sports Plus’s Studio 5, Tekpetey emphasized the importance of the project and the motivations behind it. Highlighting the significance of giving back to the community, Tekpetey expressed his deep appreciation for his mother, who has been a crucial support system in his life.

“I will give a big appreciation to my mom; she has always been a huge support system when it comes to saving lives and giving back to the community. My mom has been a drive and a motivational factor on me giving back to society,” said Bernard Tekpetey.

The forward also expressed his hopes for the future, stating that he wishes to see a breakthrough in the next five years as he continues to make a significant impact on the lives of people. He believes that the blood donation program is just the beginning of many more initiatives that will bring about positive change in the community.
