Samuel Esson Jonah is a Ghanaian Businessman and the current Chancellor of the University of Cape Coast who recently in an interview with Kafui Dey revealed that Ghanaians rarely have shares in some Private Institutions, Meanwhile, Bernard Oduro Takyi has challenged his thoughts by questioning Sir Sam Jonah as to why he never put any of his investments in Ghana instead of taking his business to South Africa. He stated that “if you have been able to identify the sickness, provide the antidote for it, what prevents him from bringing those his investments to Ghana and own shares in those companies”?

The Regional Coordinator for Caye-West Africa added that after Obuasi Mines helped Sir Jonah to be successful, he took his returns to South Africa and questioned whom he (Sir Sam Jonah) is expecting to look for the money to invest in Ghana, for that matter Mr. Jonah must set the pace for others to follow. Mr. Bernard Oduro Takyi concluded by making a clarion call on the Business Man Sam Jonah, to set the pace by investing in Ghana hugely, which will attract people to also invest in Ghanaian Businesses as well.
