The Chamber of Petroleum Consumers Ghana, COPEC has served a 7-day ultimatum to the government to immediately reverse the re-introduction of the Price Stabilization and Recovery Levy. It hints of picketing at the Finance Ministry if the government fails to rescind its decision on the levy.
Speaking to GBC News the Executive Secretary of COPEC Duncan Amoah described the reinstatement of the petroleum levies as totally, ”insensitive and a slap on the faces of petroleum consumers”.
