The Minister of Finance, Ken Ofori Atta is expected to present the Mid-Year Budget Statement and Economic Policy of the Government of Ghana for the 2023 Financial Year to Parliament on Tuesday 25th July 2023.

To deal with many of the pending issues before, the House, ahead of time and on time, the Business Committee proposed an extension of sitting time.
Accordingly, “Speaker, the Business Committee again recommends that the House commences sitting each day at 10:00 a.m. and also have extended sittings to ensure that business scheduled for the seventh week, particularly the Bills programmed are considered by the House and same passed expeditiously”.
The Committee hoped that “this recommendation if adopted, would also facilitate the consideration of other parliamentary business that would require the attention of the House”.
This was contained in the business statement for the seven weeks ending Friday 21st, July 2023 presented on Friday 14th July 2023.
