Circumstances beyond our control, do sometimes create opportunities to do things differently and this is what is happening on the sidelines of the IMF/World Bank meeting in Washington DC, US-says Ghana’s Finance minister, Ken Ofori-Atta.
The remarks come on the heels of the meeting between the G-7 finance ministers and their African counterparts.
In an exclusive interview, Mr Ofori-Atta said the G7 is committed to work together with Africa to address the high inflation, which has led to capital outflow on the continent.
