The Western Regional Branch of the Public Services Workers Union, PSWU, has elected new officers to steer the affairs of the Union for the next four years.
Stephen Tikoli, was elected as the Chairman, while Juliana Asante was chosen as first Vice with Sister Anaella Andrews-Wilson, as the Second Vice Chairperson.
Women’s Committee Chairperson’s position went to Naana Otoo and Emelia Mills as Regional Youth Committee Chairperson.
Acting General Secretary of the PSWU Bernard Adjei called on members to unite to bring honour to the union and the country as a whole.
For his part, the Regional Secretary of the TUC, Samuel Kweku Doughan asked government to make members of PSWU partners in all spheres of national development.
