The Police Administration has commended the public for assisting in an anti-armed robbery operation that led to the arrest of 28-armed robbery suspects across the country last month. In a statement, the Police said in the course of the operation, two other suspects who would have added to the tally were shot dead. It said the suspects arrested are being prosecuted in various Courts.
The Administration expressed gratitude to the Police Commands and the Special Anti-robbery Task Force that participated in the operations. According to the Service, it will continue with the fight against robbery and all other crimes to ensure a safer and secure environment for all. It, therefore, urged the public to continue to help and support the fight against crime.
