The Ghana Police Service says it has made a breakthrough in investigations into multiple bullion van robberies and attempted robberies in the Accra area. The areas include Kingsway, Baatsona, Spintex and Jamestown-Adedemkpo. This follows several months of painstaking intelligence-led operations at the highest level.
A statement signed by Director of Public Affairs of the Service, Superintendent Alexander Obeng said preliminary investigations have established the involvement of two Policemen among a number of other suspects. It added that investigations are continuing and the Police will soon bring all those culpable to face justice. The Service further assured the public that it will continue to work hard to rid the country of criminal activities that disrupt the peace and stability of the nation.
